Start with a project
Load the intended repository and select the agent. If there is no first Git commit, use the explicit initial-checkpoint path.

State the task
New Workstream separates the task, branch/base choice, and local-only versus draft-PR intent.

Start deliberately
Starting creates an owned branch/worktree and dispatches the task. It is not a read-only “look around” shortcut.

Follow the evidence
Inspect the plan, actual changed files, diff, validation and outcome in the current-work surfaces. Agent activity should correspond to real work.
